Summer Worship
In lieu of the contemporary service each Sunday, an informal time of high energy praise, prayer, scripture and liturgy will be held from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Everyone is encourages to come together for the 10:00 am service as often as possible, giving our entire congregation many opportunities to share in fellowship and in worship.

- June 14: Bill Hug with special music by harpist David Ponder and cellist Gretchen Gettes.
- June 21: Rick Losemann preaches
- June 28: Bill Bearden

- July 12: Ben Jones
- July 19: Worship Leader to be determined. Special Music by Jan Seiden, Native American Flute player.
Summer Fun Saturdays July 11 & July 25 10 am-2 pm
Children four years or older are invited to join us for a fun, two-day summer program that will include story telling, crafts, outside activites, and learning about God. Children are free to join on one or both dates. Email Katie (kcashin at ashlandpc dot org) by July 3, 2009 to sign up.

Mission Projects
Habitat for Humanity - Sign up in the church hallway to lend a hand with the Habitat Build at Ward Street in Washington Village / Pigtown this summer.
Red Cross Community Blood Drive - Sign up in the church hallway for our 23 semi-annual blood drive on Tuesday, August 4 3:00-9:00 pm.
The next trip to Sarah's Hope is Saturday June 27. Baked goods and Wish List donations are welcome. Please drop off items in the church hallway Sunday June 20.
Also don't forget our regular collection every first Sunday for Bea Gaddy Family Center in East Baltimore.

Senior High Youth are planning a trip to the Creation Festival in late June.
From June to August, the youth group will meet only on the first and third Sunday of the month.

Transformation Updates ...
Denise Van Eck took a break from the Michigan winter to join us on April 19. She shared a great message on transformation, looking back to the Old Testament stories of David and Saul to gain insights for our transformation today. Read her message in the Deep Shift section.
